Sew, Mama, Sew Giveaway Day: Closed

Update: this giveaway is now closed. Winner is kristinorth who loves Ann Kelle fabric. Congrats Kristi! I have sent you an email letting you know that you have won and Cheryl will be contacting you soon to send you your free patterns! Thanks everyone for participating!!

It’s that time of year again…giveaway day at Sew, Mama, Sew. I have decided that this is the perfect time for me to host my first giveaway! Cheryl from Meadow Mist Designs has graciously allowed me to give away 2 of her new quilt patterns- Charming and The Quilt in the Hat- to one lucky winner!
For those of you who don’t know me, my name is Brooke and I am a stay-at-home mom to one very precocious toddler named Oliver and a soon-to-be announced baby boy #2 (only 4.5 more weeks left!) I have a small etsy shop where I have fun selling appliquéd onesies and embroidery hoop art in order to help fund my fabric obsession. As a special treat for all of my new visitors, I am offering 15% off anything in the shop through Saturday with the code sewmamasew. I also enjoy making clothes for my son, attempting clothes for myself, modern quilting, and various other sewing and craft projects that catch my fancy. Feel free to look around a bit while you are here. 🙂

All you need to do to enter is to leave a comment on this post. If you need a prompt, tell me your current favorite fabric line or designer.

Additional entries: leave a separate comment for each in order to be counted correctly.

  • Follow my blog and leave a comment telling me that you do so (also I’m looking for an alternative to Google Reader to feel free to let me know your new fave Reader site!)
  • Like Oliver’s Fancy on Facebook and leave a comment telling me you do so

International entries are welcome as these are PDF patterns and will be emailed to the winner. Make sure you have your email is included in your comment profile so I have a way to contact you. Giveaway begins Monday, May 6th and ends Friday, May 10th at 5pm PST. Winner will be chosen at random and announced on this post on Saturday, May 11th. Winner will be emailed his or her patterns by Sunday, May 12th.

  1. I just saw these patterns on another blog and liked both of them. I’m excited that I have a chance to win them. These days, it is great to save money whenever you can! I’m crossing my fingers.

  2. Thank you for the give away. I was a loyal reader fan, but have started on bloglovin- Ihate it! I am looking at other options.

  3. Fun patterns! I love Lori Holt’s fabric lines they all coordinate. Her newest line is Bake sale. I can’t wait to get some! Thanks for the chance to win!

  4. Right now I like Michael Miller and Amy Butler- usually I just buy fabric I like and not pay mush attention to designer–

  5. Hi Brooke, I love the fabrics by Bonnie and Camille, like Ruby. Also, not sure if you are aware, but you have listed this giveaway for US comments only. I see that you are offering for International readers as well, and that was at the top section of the page 😉

  6. Thanks for the giveaway! I love that both quilting patterns are charm pack or fat quarter friendly. I have fabric in both categories that need using up! Cheers,

  7. I would love to make the Charming quilt. I have a layer cake that I’ve been saving for something special1k

  8. My favourite designers are Bonnie and Camille. I love all of their collections, but my favourite has to be Marmalade as I’m making my Farmer’s Wife Sampler quilt from it.

  9. Hi! I am a stay at home mom too, but my girls are 10 and 7. I love Echino and cute Japanese fabrics. I switched to Bloglovin’ for my blog reading, which is good so far!

  10. I LOVE Hope Valley by Denyse Schmidt, it’s such a pretty, modern line with a great vintage-y feel. I’m still looking for a couple of the harder to find prints but that just gives me longer to decide on the perfect pattern. Thanks for the giveaway.

  11. My favorite fabric line happens to be one featured on the pattern: Marmalade! 🙂 Love how cheery and bright it is without being over the top or obnoxious. I love the grown up patterns with youthful colors!

  12. I don’t have a favorite but thanks for the giveaway! I made pants for my kids with the red cat in the hat fabric! It’s so fun.

  14. I just finished my first quilt yesterday and I’m putting it in for a silent auction tonight. I told my dad if nobody bids on it, I’ll pay him to buy it! : )

  15. congratulations on nr 2 on the way. I myself have a almost 2yo and am over 34 weeks pregnant myself. I can’t do very much anymore. giveawayday came at just the right moment for me!
My favorite fabric line is currently safari soiree by dan stiles! would love to make that into a baby quilt.
good luck in the next couple of weeks!

  16. How strange that your offering that charm quilt – I have suggested it to a couple of blogs during the blog hop give away party as a pattern I would love to try with a charm pack they were giving away. Now I have the chance to win the pattern too.
I would love to see it made with nautical fabrics including Sarah Jane Out to Sea and Tula Pink Salt Water.

  17. I now follow you too. I have been using NetVibes to read blogs. I like it because I can organize the blogs I follow into “tabs” and view the posts from groups (like all my sewing blogs) or just a single blog, or even all blog posts at once. Once I read a post it disappears from the list (you can always view all or view recently read).

  18. Congrats on baby boy #2. I have 2 boys (ages 3 and 4 1/2) and a baby girl due in July!! I love anything Moda…Their designers are awesome! Love your blog .
